I went to Starbucks on Tuesday, and order a SOY chai latte. SOY. As in NOT MILK. I get my soy chai latte...which is correct...with about an inch or two of of WHIPPED CREAM.
Maybe I'm just sensitive, but doesn't whipped cream defeat the purpose of soy milk in the drink? Are these people using their brains when they make drinks? Sure they follow drink recipes, but when you have a variant, such as soy milk in the drink, shouldn't you sort of change the recipe?
I'm lactose intolerant, so it does make a difference to me.
Edit:
Apparently the Starbucks recipe doesn't have whipped cream in it. Thank you, onedizzylizzy. The standard recipe for the drink does not call for whipped cream...per several kind posters. While I do appreciate everyone jumping on me for (correctly) assuming such a drink doesn't come with whipped cream, when in fact....it doesn't.
