Staples

This is probably not that big of a deal, but it really annoyed me, so I thought I would share.

Yesterday, I went to Staples to pick up some labels for the marketing packaging I am making for work. I am on a bit of a time crunch, as probably most working people are during the day in an office supply store, but that is my problem, not theirs. I get that.

Anyway, I get to the till, and there are two girls, probably both about 18 or 19 years old. They are giggling and chatting and being really childish and talking about things that aren't very appropriate - like "oh my god, I need a break, this sucks" (sorry my buying something disturbs you) and "oooh that woman that just came in is the DEVIL"

What?!

Ok, so complaining about your job is one thing, but she was talking about some poor unsuspecting CUSTOMER. So, I said to her, "Excuse me, but you do realize that all of us in line can hear you talking about customers like that, don't you?"

She perks up, looks at me and says "Oh, I am talking about my friend"

THEN, turns to her coworker and says "Wow, what a bitch"


!!!!!

I wish I could say I walked out or did something in retaliation, but I was too stunned to do anything.
