Yesterday I went to Zaxby's for lunch. For those who aren't familiar with it, it's a fast food type place that serves chicken fingers, wings, etc. As I was waiting for my to-go order, I noticed a guy and a girl who were probably in their early 20s also waiting for their food. However, they weren't wearing any shoes. After I got over my initial shock, I wondered if anyone else had noticed.
I didn't see a "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service" sign inside or outside the restaurant, but doesn't it go without saying that if you're entering any establishment, especially one that serves food, that you should wear the appropriate footwear?
None of the employees said anything to them, but this could have been because they couldn't tell they weren't wearing shoes.
I didn't say anything to management, but should I have? Would you have said anything?
(Also, if this seems more appropriate for customers_suck, which I realize it might be, let me know and I'll put it there instead.)
