Not bad service, just amusingly poor service.



I went to my local UPS Store on 12/8 to ship 2 presents home. 1 for my brother, some art for his apt and 1 for my best friend, fabulous lotions and stuff in a pretty purse. I asked the store to pack these things, as I'm terrible at it and would just rather pay the extra money to make sure it's not broken when it gets to it's destination.

Fast forward to 12/13. My best friend calls me and says: "I got your brother's present." She opened it to find his card on the top, and what I sent him in there. Okay, no biggie. I call UPS the next day, they go "Ooops" and tell me they have my bro's address wrong. They correct his address, and since they still had the package they sent to him in error (my bf's stuff), they ship that to her, and pick up his package from her house.

I call bro on Christmas, and he still hasn't received his present. WTF? I get a call last night (12/27) and guess what? They shipped his present BACK to my friend's house. Again, WTF? I call UPS again, this poor guy in the Madison, Wisconsin shipping center is totally clueless how they shipped it back to her. (They actually covered their label w/ my bro's address with a label with her address.) They're picking it up, again, and sending it back to my brother.

I'm just happy he'll finally get his present, hopefully it's not broken. :-( That's all.
