More just WTF...

I bought a new Hyundai in February, from a dealer near my house. I work about 30 miles from home, in a different county, on a different side of the Chicago metro area.

Friday morning I got to work only to discover my engine shield was dragging (the plastic bit that helps prevent debris from getting in under your car). I panicked a little, since I had a road trip that weekend, and called the nearest Hyundai dealer to see if they could help.

I took my car in, they removed the shield, offered to order a new one, I said no thanks, I'll have the dealer near home do it.

So that part was fine. BUT.

I realized belatedly that they had taken off the license plate holder/covers from Dealer Near My House and replaced them both (front and back) with North Shore Dealer holders.

I was there for maybe 20 minutes, and I still can't figure out why the heck they would do that. I'm sure the two dealers are competitors on some level, but they're both Hyundai, nowhere near each other, and... I'm still totally baffled and irritated by it.
